Turmoil in the Parliament of South Korea, Tuesday, a surprise reunion vote that was convened by the Government, which approved the free trade with the United States led the opposition to launch tear gas in parliament in protest.

The South Korean Government, the Grand National Party, anticipated the vote of the agreement providing for free trade with the United States (USA), a maneuver to force a vote on the treaty by calling a surprise meeting, which drew the ire of opponents bomb that detonated tear gas to protest the vote. The opposition believes that the agreement benefits only the Americans.

The MPs approved by 151 votes against the ratification of seven trade agreement in a legislative session convened in the last minute ruling Grand National Party.

There were shouts and turmoil during the session of the National Assembly. Outside the building, opponents of the treaty, saying that the agreement benefits the United States clashed with police trying to maintain order in Parliament.
