George Galamaz, a defender of the Romanian side Steaua Bucharest, had broken his right cheek and temporarily lost consciousness in the attack by a fan.
The incident sparked a struggle for Galamaz teammates will decide to return the aggression. Two of them were sent to attack a fan, who was arrested.
